Meet the Creative Team
Jason Doring, Creator and Writer Jason is a member of the North Shore chapter of the Boston Comics Roundtable, and when not writing comics is a content marketing professional currently working in the cloud technology space. He received his Bachelor of Science in Television Studies from Boston University's College of Communication, and is also a proud alumna of Emerson College's graduate program in Integrated Marketing Communication. Jason credits the inspiring work of his friends and professors from both colleges for his drive to publish his first ongoing comic series. A former television production assistant whose credits include The Office, iCarly, Trans World Sport, The Real Housewives of New York, JONAS, and Supernanny, The Naked Eye is Jason's love/hate letter to his time living and working in Southern California and the entertainment industry.
Beniamino Delvecchio, Artist and Colorist A prolific artist in the Italian comics community with over 24 years of experience, Beniamino graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in 1992, with a thesis on comics. Following the completion of his military service in 1992, he has been a constant presence in European comics, with credits on multiple titles for Italy's Astorina (Diabolik), Star Comics (Lazarus Ledd, Cornelia, Doctor Morgue, Pinkerton, The Secret) and Bonelli Editore (Dampyr, Color Tex). Beniamino has also contributed art and graphic design work to multiple European cultural associations that illustrate the rich artistic history of the region.
Beniamino is the creator of the all-ages action-adventure series Tokae, chronicling the story of a young Lakota Sioux navigating his passage to adulthood amidst tribal conflict and the harsh conditions of the Great Plains. Beyond his work on The Naked Eye, his forays into American comics include Black Arrow for Kensaj Productions and an ongoing wrestling series for RCB Studios.
